Author Jimena L. Greyson was born in Washington DC. She was homeschooled from fourth grade all the way to high school, then graduating with high honors. One time in her English class, they were told to write a story for their assignment. It could be any story. And she decided to write about a group of friends who decided to go on a road trip. Now at twenty-three years of age, she lives in Philadelphia and is enrolled at the Community College of Philadelphia, completing her associate degree in culinary arts. In her spare time, she likes to cook, spend time with people she loves, and write stories and poems. Over the summer, she remembered the story she did for her high school English class. She always thought it had potential and was worth continuing. And that’s how What’s the Worse that Can Happen? happened.
